How to Update Email ID in SBI Account

Just like registered mobile number, you can change Email ID in SBI too. By reading previous article i am assuming you know now ‘how to change your registered mobile number in SBI’. If you have not read that, you can read it here:- ‘How to change mobile number in SBI’

To change/Update your Email ID in SBI, you can do it

  • Offline – By visiting nearest SBI Branch.
  • Online – By SBI Net Banking

By visiting SBI Branch

 

  • Visit your nearest SBI Branch.
    • Fill in a Letter of Request. Submit the letter.
    • After necessary verification, the updation will be done by the branch.
    • You will receive an SMS on your updated email ID regarding the status of updation.

 

By SBI Net Banking 

STEP-1 Go to www.onlinesbi.com and login with your username and password.

 

STEP-2 Go to My account & Profile > Profile > Update Email ID ( see pics below )

 

STEP-3 You have to use your profile password on the next screen.

 

 

STEP-4 Enter your new Email ID and Submit.

 

 

STEP-5 Now for Email ID approval you will see two options.

  • SMS (OTP) Approval – One time password will sent to your registered mobile number, that you have to use.
  • Branch Approval – You will have to visit branch and Branch will approve your new Email ID.

 

STEP-6 After selecting SMS Approval. you will get OTP on your registered mobile. Enter it and click Approve. That’s it. On the next screen you will see the confirmation message ‘ Email Address Updated Successfully.

 

Alternatively :-

Login to OnlineSBI >> My Accounts & Profile >> Profile >> Personal Details/Mobile >> Enter Profile Password >> Change option beside Email >>  Enter the new Email Address and click on submit. your email will be updated.
